INK REVOLUTION

We imagined that the engineers at Epson we were asked to design the perfect printer.  They wanted fewer moving parts for less complexity and easier operation.  They believed heat was the enemy to printing and produced a device that could lay down 40 million perfect circular dots through a nozzle the size of 1/100th the width of a human hair.

A printer that is Printer Fleet Management friendly so time consuming manual tasks can be completed from a remote desktop.

The engineers thought customers were frustrated with all the supplies that need to be changed on a regular basis.  So they decided to eliminate fusers, drums, transfer belts and maintenance kits.  Accordingly, they thought that the printer should be clean and easy to operate.  Maybe they decided they could create super high capacity ink that would cut down on interventions all together.

Team Epson would create a ‘see through’ paper path for easy access to entire printer.  Epson would also make the extra high-capacity inks effortless to change, without any chance to spill or dump color everywhere.  No leaking, no dumping, no mess.
